In today's episode I rant briefly about a common scenario I run into working with companies from an HR standpoint. Too often I might receive a call where a leader hasn't done their job along the way but they are fed up with their employee and want them gone. When asked about what documentation they have in place they will inevitably ask or comment... "wait... isn't this an at-will state?" Hear what I have to say about this and what I think is simply a lazy leader.
